To the most amazing woman I know.

Dear Mom,
I want you to know that I love you and feel very fortunate to be your daughter. There is something very special about you, and I am not the only one who sees it. You have such a huge heart and a warm loving soul. You give off such a positive energy. You also seem to have a thick skin that allows you to tolerate mean and hurtful moments. I saw it when I was a rebellious teenager and I still see it in you now. You are able to let things roll off your back. You are so patient with people who are inpatient. You are so calm around those who are chaotic. You are a woman who loves Jesus and isn't afraid to tell anyone. You care for your mother like I hope one day I can care for you. You are a friend to everyone, you know no strangers. You are supportive in everything I do, unless it is a very bad decision, which I am aware at the time I deserve no support. We have been through so much together, and yet you still remain there for me. It took me having a child of my own to realize just how lucky I am. I am sorry I was a slow learner and put you through many tough years. You taught me so much growing up and I am still learning from you now. I hope one day my boys see me as I see you. You define the word "Mother". I love you.
