Let the good times roll...

So "our" parades officially kicked off today with Barkus in the French Quarter being the first one. The boys had a great time and the dogs were so freaking cute. Jude's parents joined us. For those of you who are not familiar with Barkus, it is basically a puppy parade, where people walk their dogs, pull them in wagons, etc, all while the pups are dressed up in the parades theme. This year it was "BatMutt". See lots of pictures below...

Our evening festivities continued at the parade, Centurion. Cullen joined us for this one. We are fortunate to be able to walk to the parades in our home town. The kids had a wonderful time and it was so fun watching them enjoy it.

Sorry we missed Barkus! We went to Armstrong Park for the after party and met some of the dogs at the end. I knew I should have called you about Centurions - we missed it, too, but Maddie probably needed some quiet time after parading all weekend.
