Party at the RR

There is a great little park a few towns over that is worth the drive. It is right by the railroad tracks, where if you are lucky, you will catch a few trains flying by. The boys and I, along with a few peeps, headed over that way and hung out. All three of my little monkeys played well together and it was fantastic to see. At the end of the day, after talking to a stranger at the park (and a little coaxing from Amy and I), our dear friend Mandy decided to start a moms group of her own in that town. They do not have a kids group there and are in much need of one. I am so proud of her for doing it! I hope that it brings joy to her, and all, like I once experienced. I have signed up to be a member. I will drive over there a couple times a month to play. I would drive anyway to see my friend, so why not? I'm excited.

*On a side note, as far as joining another moms group, I feel as if I need to explain. It just happened! I need to get out the dang house and let Aiden play (and little Ro). I realized this after leaving my previous mommy group. Aiden and Roman need friends, too. I am hoping Mandy's group will cater more to older children as there is another group in her area created specifically for toddlers born in 2007 and under. I have joined a "kids" group and hope to be doing some new kids stuff. I also will never sign myself up for organizer or assistant (huge voluntary time consumption), so Jude will be happy with that:) It's a win, win.

It WAS a win, win situation :) Mandy got her group which will find her new friends in Slidell and we will get to see her and the kids once a week :) A perfect fit for me :)
